Klamath Eye Center

Dr. Jonathan Fay is pleased to return home to beautiful Klamath Falls to join his father and the Klamath Eye Center in the practice of ophthalmology. His areas of expertise are in cornea and external eye disease including: cataract surgery, cornea transplants, corneal degenerations, infectious diseases, and LASIK. He also provides comprehensive care to patients with diabetes, macular degeneration and glaucoma.

After graduating from Klamath Union High School, Dr. Fay attended college at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina where he was recognized for his academic and athletic performance in track and field. He then attended medical school at Oregon Health and Science University and internship at Legacy Health System in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Fay continued his training in ophthalmology residency at Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then went on to Columbia University in New York where he received fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery and served as a surgical instructor, teaching cataract surgery to ophthalmology residents.

Dr. Fay brings to Klamath Falls new areas of expertise in ophthalmology and in doing so joins the Klamath Eye Center in offering state of the art care to their patients. However, what he enjoys most about ophthalmology is offering meaningful and personal care to his patients, and what better way to do this than in the community he grew up in!

Outside of medicine Dr. Fay is a husband and father. He enjoys almost any form of exercise and outdoor activity, especially with family and friends.
