Dr. Mark Fay, M.D.
Dr. Mark Fay, M.D.
OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Dr. Fay’s path to ophthalmology began as a junior high student, when he was hired by an ophthalmologist to do work around the doctor’s home, yard and office.

After earning an undergraduate degree at North Dakota State, he started Medical School at the University of North Dakota. Dr. Fay completed medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He spent the next two years serving the U.S. Public Health Service as a primary care physician, he then returned to the University of California, San Diego completing his residency in ophthalmology.

Loving the sunshine, Dr. Fay and his family settled into Klamath Falls to begin practicing general ophthalmology in 1989.

Outgoing, personable and having a genuine care for people, Dr. Fay’s patients truly appreciate his surgical and medical care. Cataract surgery, Eyelid surgery (medically necessary and cosmetic), strabismus surgery, eye disease treatment and management, medical laser surgery, and routine vision care are all included in the scope of Dr. Fay’s expertise.  He has also been treating patients with Botox for medical and cosmetic needs for over 20 years (though he claims to only be 29 years old).

Outside of the office, Dr. Fay enjoys spending time with his family.  He also enjoys outdoor activities and as much exercise as he can get.
